Top Assistance insurance is a Belgian assistance insurance policy from AG SA, distributed by BNP Paribas Fortis SA. This is a one-year contract that renews tacitly for the same period, unless you terminate it at least three months before the main expiry date.
For contracts taken out or tacitly renewed from 1 October 2024, you can terminate them up to two months before the main expiry date. From the second year of insurance onwards, you can cancel the contract at any time. Termination will take effect two months from the day after the deposit of the registered letter, notification, or acknowledgement of receipt.

Your car or motorbike will be repaired on the spot or towed to a garage. If it's not possible to repair it within 24 hours or your vehicle has been stolen, you can receive a replacement vehicle for up to 15 days in Belgium and up to 7 days abroad. You're covered in all countries listed on your insurance certificate.
We pay for medical care or hospitalisation, up to €50,000 per person. Search, rescue, and repatriation costs are also reimbursed. Top Assistance intervenes worldwide!

in Belgium and in the countries on the green card, the organisation and handling of sending a breakdown service and providing a replacement vehicle in case of technical issues (accident, mechanical failure, flat tyre, lost key, wrong fuel, ...)
in Belgium, the organisation and handling of medical assistance, sending medication and glasses, home help, childcare...
abroad, the organisation and handling of sending a doctor on site, reimbursement of medical expenses (max. €50,000), extended stay costs for the insured, assistance in case of stolen or lost luggage, assistance in case of stolen or lost means of payment
expenses incurred by an insured person without prior agreement from the Helper (unless otherwise provided for in the contract)
